ABOUT ANA CONVENTIONS:
Every ANA convention held on July 4th weekend in the past was equally important and had its own symbolic significances. It is never too late to express our gratitude to many organizers and wonderful volunteers whose dedication made all previous ANA conventions wherever they were held before 2011, memorable events. Thank you.

ABOUT 29th ANA-DC CONVENTION 2011:
On behalf of members and friends of ANA, it is my pleasure in admiration to salute the entire members of 29th ANA-DC CONVENTION 2011 team lead by Convention Coordinator Mr. Hemanta Shrestha. The volunteers, the attendees, the vendors, the media and all others who took part in different activities during this convention were our ANA stars that made 29th ANA-DC Convention 2011 a historical event of its own. Thank you to all.

Some of us who have been in and around ANA for a long time felt woe noticing the absence of some frequent ANA convention attendees (especially some of the former presidents of ANA) and their family members in 29th ANA-DC Convention 2011. I would be lying if I did not admit that I miss their absence. However, members and friends of ANA in unity acknowledge that their contributions in advancing the foundation of ANA shall be coined permanently in the history of the association despite of their absence.

The final and complete financial details of 29th ANA-DC Convention 2011 will be made public within few days. We leave the attendees to be the sole judges in measuring the achievement of the 29th ANA-DC Convention 2011. The overwhelming enthusiasm shown by the next 30th ANA Convention Hosting Team of great State of Texas it self, speaks the volume of attractions for ANA generated by the 29th ANA-DC Convention 2011. The proof is in the pudding. Mr. Pasang Lama who is amongst a handful of very successful Nepali entrepreneur in the USA, the Coordinator of the 30th ANA Convention assured that the next ANA Convention shall be most attractive, productive and financially rewarding event for the ANA.

FORGIVENESS IS THE ONLY WAY, A NEPALI WAY.
ANA is now on the 29th year, and shall continue to live as the Association of the Nepalis, for the Nepalis and friends of Nepal, and by the Nepalis in Americas. We live in a democratic nation with equal liberty and freedom to all. We are all equally passionate about defending the institutional integrity of ANA. Our differences are not colossal, but a side effect of simple misunderstanding between us. Therefore, for the indisputable Nepali unity, forgiveness is the only way by which we all can simultaneously embrace and be free of our past differences. Forgiveness, by all to all without a condition is the fundamental step in building ANA to the expectation of our past and hope for our future. So, once again, and again and again I shall make a humble appeal to all to cultivate forgiveness amongst us to cherish Nepali unity for Nepali prosperity.

एएनए सम्मेलनबारे ।
हरेक साल जुलाई ४ तारिकमा विगतदेखि आयोजना हुंदै आएका सवै एएनए सम्मेलनहरुको आआफ्नै महत्व र प्रतिकात्मक अर्थ रहेको छ । यस अघिका सम्मेलनहरु जहां जहां भएका भएपनि त्यसका आयोजकहरु र स्वयंसेवीहरुले सम्मेलन सफल बनाउन पुर्याउनु भएको अहं भूमिकालाई सह्राना नगरिरहन सकिंदैन ।

२९ औ एएनए डि.सी. सम्मेलन २०११ बारे ।
२९ औ एएनए डि.सी. सम्मेलन २०११ लाई भब्य रुपमा सम्पन्न गर्न एएनएका सम्पूर्ण सदस्य, समर्थक र मित्रहरुको तर्फबाट श्री हेमन्त श्रेष्ठको नेतृत्वमा रहेको आयोजक समितिको उच्च प्रसंशा गर्न चाहन्छु । साथै यो सम्मेलनका विभिन्न गतिविधिहरुमा सहभागी भएर सम्मेलनलाई एक गहकिलो र ऐतिहासिक बनाउन सहयोग गर्नु हुने स्वयंसेवक, सहभागी, भेण्डर, संचारमाध्यम तथा अन्य सवै हाम्रा नक्षत्र हुनुहुन्छ । सवैलाई धेरै धन्यबाद ।

एएनएका विगतका सवै सम्मेलनहरुमा देखिंदै आएका कतिपय अनुहारहरु (विशेषतः केही पूर्व अध्यक्षज्यूहरु र उहांहरुका परिवारहरु) लाई यस सम्मेलनमा देखिएन । तर उहांहरु अनुपस्थित भएतापनि सम्मेलनमा उपस्थित प्रायः सवैले उहांहरुले एएनएलाई विगतमा पुर्याउनु भएको योगदानको बारेमा गरेका प्रसंसाका कुराहरु एएनएको इतिहासका सुनौला पानाहरुमा लेखिने छन् । २९ औं एएनए सम्मेलनको वास्तविक हिसाव किताव केही दिनभित्रै जनसमक्ष ल्याइने छ । यस सम्मेलनका उपलव्धिहरुको वास्तविक मूल्यांकन गर्ने जिम्मा त्यहां उपस्थित महानुभावहरुलाई छोड्नु नै जायज हुने छ । डि.सी. सम्मेलनले आगामी वर्ष टेक्ससमा हुने ३० औं सम्मेलनलाई समेत जोश, जांगर र उमङ्ग भरेको कुरा छर्लङ्गै छ । त्यसमाथि पनि अमेरिकाका एक सफल उद्यमी, समाजसेवी श्री पासाङ्ग लामा सम्पूर्ण टेक्ससबासीको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्दै ३० औं सम्मेलनको आयोजक हुनुले पनि ३० औं सम्मेलन सहभागिता र आर्थिक दुवै हिसावले अझ सार्थक हुने कुरामा दुई मत छैन ।

क्षमादान नै अन्तिम उपाय
एएनए अहिले २९ औ वर्षमा आइपुगेको छ र अरु धेरै वर्षसम्म नेपालीहरुद्धारा नेपालीकै लागि एसोसिएसन अफ नेपलिज् (एएनए)कै रुपमा रहिरहने छ । हामी एउटा प्रजातान्त्रिक र सवैलाई समान स्वतन्त्रता भएको मुलुकमा रहेका छौं । अहिले हामीवीचमा देखिएका मतभिन्नता त्यस्तो कुनै भीमकाय हैनन्, आफूले आफैंलाई र अरुलाई बुझ्न र सम्मान गर्न नसक्नुको परिणाम हो । त्यसैले नेपालीहरुको विवादरहित एवं वृहद् एकताको लागि एकले अर्कोलाई क्षमादान गर्नुको अर्को उपाय छैन र यसैको माध्यमबाट एकापसमा अंकमाल गरेर अगाडि बढ्न सकिन्छ । एएनएलाई हाम्रो विगतको आकांक्षा र भविष्यको आशाको रुपमा विकसित गर्न क्षमादान नै अन्तिम उपाय हो । म पुनः पुनः र पुनश्चः हात जोडेर सवैमा अपील गर्दछु कि नेपाली मात्रको एकता र हितका खातिर हामीले व्यापक रुपमा एकापसमा क्षमादानको अभियान शुरु गरौं, एक हौं, एक रहौं ।

ANA Election 2011-2013

ANA ELECTION for 2011-2013 slated for JULY-AUGUST 2011

Official Communication of ANA(aka FoANA)

To all ANA Members and all concerned Nepalese community members in the Americas.

Following are some of the details on the decisions of the Special Emergency Meeting of the Executive Board. As per the mandate given by the Executive Board on February 6, 2011 meeting and re-approved and upheld in subsequent Executive Board meetings (Article IV Section 4 Subsection b), Independent Task Force of ANA (ITFANA) would like all ANA members and all concerned to know that:

1] ANA election will be held in the month of July to August, 2011 by the current Election Committee of three members, Dr. Sudeep Shrestha, Ms. Sardha Khati and Mr. Hira Sharma.

2] The Annual General Meeting of General Body at the ANA DC Convention will decide a democratic, transparent, inclusive, and fair election guideline as well as the eligible voters.

3] The Election Committee will publish the list of candidates and will notify the potential voters to be stand-by to elect their candidates.

4] A team of ANA Care Taker will be announced soon by the executive board and will officially be in charge of ANA until the newly elected officers are announced.

5) Furthermore, with executive authority bestowed independent of the Executive Board as legally binding document, ITFANA has full jurisdiction over ANA Election 2011-2013 until its conclusion.

6) ITFANA, soon to be announced ANA Care Taker and the three member ANA Election committee will work hard to ensure free, fair, inclusive, and democratic election for ALL members to participate as per the tradition and aspirations of all community members of North America.

As per the mandate, ITFANA would like all to know through this public notice that lawful action to respond to anyone or any situation against ANA would be undertaken. That includes spreading false rumor or disseminating opinions detrimental to economic success of 29^th ANA Convention. Punitive measures will be sought if there is written record of so. Final decision on the 2011-2013 ANA Election related issues may rest with Annual General Meeting of Members of ANA and Nepalese community members of Americas attending the ANA-DC convention.
